The game follows Lester, a physics professor who is transported to an alien world after a failed experiment. It combines shooting, platforming, and puzzle-solving in linear stages, with exploration and environmental challenges. Lester is aided by an alien ally, and combat involves tactical use of an energy gun, shields, and bombs while navigating hostile environments.
