An action role-playing game, *Bastion* follows the Kid, who survives a catastrophic event called the Calamity and must collect Cores to rebuild the Bastion. Players explore isometric levels, engaging in combat with various weapons while upgrading the Bastion’s facilities and replaying levels to gather missed items or earn fragments. The story unfolds through narration and music, set in a hand-painted world where players can choose between standard and easier modes after completing the main narrative.
