About

Cave Story+ is a 2D platformer with action-adventure and Metroidvania elements. The player controls an amnesiac protagonist who explores caves and a floating island inhabited by Mimigas, solving puzzles and battling enemies while collecting weapons and experience points. The story follows the protagonist as he uncovers his past and aids the Mimigas in defending their world, with the *+* version adding an alternate scenario and an extra level.
