This platformer follows Daxter, an orange ottsel, as he searches for Jak in Haven City while working as a pest exterminator to combat a metalbug infestation. Players control Daxter from a third-person perspective, using agile moves like wall-climbing, vehicle maneuvering, and combat with gadgets such as a bug swatter and spray gun. The game includes single-player platforming and multiplayer combat arenas, with connectivity features for *Jak X: Combat Racing* and a PlayStation 2 connection.
