A 3D platformer released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64, the game follows Donkey Kong and four other Kongs as they explore themed island levels to collect items and rescue captured friends from K. Rool. Players control each Kong character, using their unique abilities to complete puzzles, minigames, and collect bananas and other items, with a separate multiplayer mode offering competitive deathmatch and last-man-standing gameplay. Set across various themed areas, the story focuses on rescuing the Kongs' kidnapped allies while battling the antagonist K. Rool and his Kremling forces.
