A first-person shooter, *DOOM* (1993) features fast-paced combat where players battle demonic forces across multiple levels using a variety of firearms. The game includes cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes for up to four players, as well as an additional episode with nine new levels. Set on Mars and its moons, the story follows an unnamed marine fighting to survive against a demonic invasion after a failed scientific experiment.
