A role-playing game developed by Chunsoft and published by Enix in 1987, it follows three descendants of the hero Erdrick one hundred years after the first game. The player controls a party of three characters—a prince of Midenhall, a prince of Cannock, and a princess of Moonbrooke—to defeat the evil wizard Hargon and his forces. The game expands on its predecessor with a larger open world, sailing ship travel, and a more complex combat system featuring multiple party members.
