Duelyst combines elements of a digital collectible card game with turn-based strategy gameplay. Players build custom decks of cards representing minions, spells, and artifacts, and take turns positioning units on a tactical battlefield to reduce the opponent's General's health to zero. The game features six distinct factions, over 700 cards, and multiple game modes, including ranked ladders and draft tournaments, with matches typically lasting under ten minutes.
