This is a third-person action game where players control soldiers of the Earth Defense Force (EDF) to combat alien invasions. Core gameplay involves completing missions with destructible environments using a wide variety of weapons, featuring solo and online co-op modes for up to four players. The setting involves defending Earth against increasingly intelligent alien threats, including the new "Primer" species, across over 100 missions with varying difficulty levels.
