This is a first-person shooter game set in an open world. Players control Ajay Gale, who becomes involved in a civil war in the fictional region of Kyrat, navigating missions between a dictator and rebel factions. Exploration is enabled by unlocking areas through completing objectives such as activating bell towers and taking over enemy outposts.
