This is a 3D-remake of a role-playing game set in the *Final Fantasy* universe. The game employs the Active Time Battle system, where lunar phases dynamically affect combat abilities, and features a branching narrative structure with ten distinct character-driven tales. The story takes place seventeen years after the original *Final Fantasy IV*, following new and returning characters as they confront a new lunar threat.
