After a failed experiment opens interdimensional portals, he must navigate the facility’s ruins, battling hostile creatures and soldiers while attempting to close the rift. The game emphasizes continuous storytelling through in-game events rather than cutscenes, with Freeman using a variety of weapons to survive.
