This is an action arcade game where players control a small ball called a katamari, rolling it over objects to increase its size. The objective is to roll up items to form a large enough katamari to become a new star for the night sky. The game is set in a stylized, humorous world where the King of All Cosmos tasks the player with restoring the stars after they were accidentally destroyed.
