Kirby's Adventure

A platformer developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the NES in 1993, *Kirby's Adventure* introduces the Copy ability, allowing Kirby to gain temporary powers by inhaling enemies. The game follows Kirby as he travels across Dream Land to retrieve the shattered pieces of the Star Rod, which powers the Fountain of Dreams and ensures peaceful sleep for its inhabitants. It is the only mainline Kirby game released for the NES and was later remade for the Game Boy Advance as *Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land*.
