This is a 3D side-scrolling platformer where the player controls Klonoa, who must navigate levels to restore harmony in the land of Lunatea by ringing four bells while avoiding the Sky Pirate Leorina. Core mechanics include collecting Momett Dolls and Dream Stones, using Klonoa's wind bullet to capture and launch enemies, and completing optional puzzles that double Dream Stone values. The game features hoverboard sections for faster-paced action and is set in a dreamlike world where Klonoa's abilities, such as hovering jumps, aid in exploration and combat.
