This is an open-world action-RPG set in Middle-earth during the events leading to *The Lord of the Rings*. Players control Talion, a Gondor captain bound to the wraith Celebrimbor, as they seek vengeance against Sauron’s forces while upgrading abilities through experience and mission completion. The game features the Nemesis System, which dynamically tracks and evolves Uruk warriors, allowing players to strategically manipulate enemy hierarchies through targeted assassinations.
