A hybrid tower defense and real-time strategy game with RPG elements, *OTTTD* tasks players with defending bases against waves of interdimensional enemies using customizable towers and squads of three heroes. The setting follows the year 2136, where the private military corporation HEROCORP exploits trans-dimensional rifts to profit from warfare across alternate universes. Players choose from seven hero classes, develop their abilities, and deploy a variety of weapons and towers to counter bizarre foes like Cactus Ghosts and giant flying sharks.
