A person experiences visions of a past battle between a hero and two Sisters of Chaos, who once controlled the Light of the Sun and the Darkness of the Moon. The player controls this modern-day protagonist, who must traverse various areas guarded by corrupted Protectors to reach and defeat the Sisters again. Gameplay involves using energy from Light and Darkness to overcome enemies and obstacles, with each energy type being effective against opposing forces.
