This is a first-person psychological horror game. The player controls investigative journalist Miles Upshur, who explores Mount Massive Asylum while documenting events with a battery-powered night vision camera. The core gameplay involves evasion and puzzle-solving, as Miles encounters aggressive asylum inhabitants with no combat options available.
