Persona 5 is a role-playing game with action and adventure elements, featuring turn-based combat. Players control a high school student who leads a group of vigilantes called the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, using supernatural personas to fight in a parallel supernatural world called the Metaverse. The game alternates between daily life in modern Tokyo and dungeon exploration in the Metaverse, where the party steals treasures from corrupted palaces.
