The player controls a ship navigating underground tunnels on the planet Apoxus Prime, using weapons to clear obstacles and rescue scientists while managing the ship’s temperature to avoid overheating. The game features three episodes with five levels each, where progress depends on saving scientists and environmental manipulation of water, lava, and rocks.
