This action-adventure game continues the series' focus on 3D platforming, combat, and parkour mechanics. The protagonist returns to previously visited areas in a non-linear structure, using new tools to unlock hidden paths while wielding two weapons at once. The story follows the Prince seven years after *The Sands of Time*, as he is hunted by Dahaka for altering time, with two possible endings based on collectible completion.
