Quake

A first-person shooter developed by id Software and released in 1996, *Quake* is known for introducing fully 3D environments and movement, including vertical axis control. The single-player campaign follows the protagonist Ranger as he battles hostile entities called Quake across 32 levels, while the multiplayer mode supports deathmatch gameplay on six additional maps. Two expansion packs were later released, adding new enemies, weapons, and levels to the original game.
