A first-person shooter, *Quake IV* follows Marine Corporal Matthew Kane as he fights against the Strogg, a cyborg alien race, on their home planet. The single-player campaign focuses on linear combat encounters with squadmates, featuring twelve weapons and occasional vehicle or turret sections. Multiplayer offers six modes, including Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and DeadZone.
