Quantum Break is a third-person action shooter with time-manipulation mechanics. The story follows protagonist Jack Joyce, who gains the ability to control time after a failed experiment, leading him to confront the organization Monarch and its leader Paul Serene, who can see alternate futures. The game features branching narrative segments presented as TV episodes, where player choices influence the plot, and combat includes cover-based shooting with time-based puzzle-solving.
