This is a side-scrolling beat 'em up game where players control either Ryan or Alex to fight through gangs in River City. Combat involves punches, kicks, and environmental objects, with defeated enemies dropping money for purchasing health items, abilities, and learning new moves. The goal is to defeat bosses to rescue Ryan’s girlfriend, with the Game Boy Advance version adding recruitable characters and new weapons.
