You play as Sanjuro Makabe, a pilot and commander in the UCA Security Force, tasked with locating and assassinating the rebel leader Gabriel. Gameplay involves both on-foot combat and piloting Mobile Combat Armor (MCA), giant mechs that can transform between humanoid and hovertank modes across open and urban environments. The story is set on the planet Cronus and aboard the spaceship Leviathan, focusing on a conflict over control of the energy source Kato, with two possible endings.
