This is a 2D platform game where players control characters from the Sonic series across seven zones, each split into three acts and a boss fight. Players can choose one or two characters at a time, each with unique abilities that affect level navigation. The story follows Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and Cream as they attempt to stop Doctor Eggman and his robot Gemerl from dividing the Earth into separate regions.
