This action-adventure game features Sonic the Hedgehog navigating a world split into day and night segments. During the day, players control Sonic in fast-paced 3D stages, while nighttime transforms him into a werehog-like form for slower, combat-focused 2D levels. The story follows Sonic and Chip, a mysterious creature, as they work to restore the shattered world and stop Dr. Eggman after a cataclysmic event unleashes a destructive force.
