This is a team-based multiplayer shooter where players control characters called Inklings or Octolings, using ink-based weapons to cover territory in competitive matches. The game features several modes, including 4-on-4 Turf War battles, cooperative Salmon Run missions, and a single-player campaign against Octarian forces. Set in the city of Inkopolis two years after the original game, it introduces new weapons, gear, and gameplay mechanics while supporting both local and online multiplayer.
