Players manage economic and military development with advisor assistance, engage in large-scale battles with up to 10,000 units per side, and explore non-linear missions based on actual historical events. The game features over 1,000 structures, 80,000 units, and a full encyclopedia of WWI-era weaponry, with the *Entente Gold* expansion adding two new campaigns, a map editor, and mission editor.
