This is a roguelike adventure platformer featuring two alien characters, ToeJam and Earl, who crash-land on Earth. Players collect lost pieces of their rocketship while using power-ups to survive against hostile Earthlings, with gameplay that includes randomly generated levels and cooperative mechanics for up to four players. The story follows their attempt to recover the missing parts before returning home, set against a backdrop of funk-inspired music and humor.
