Players take on the role of a Strategic Homeland Division agent in a post-pandemic New York City, where they must complete missions, upgrade equipment, and combat the spread of a deadly virus called "The Dollar Flu." The setting is an open-world Manhattan, featuring destructible environments and a narrative centered on a failed experiment that triggered the outbreak during Black Friday 2015.
