Viewtiful Joe 2 is an action game featuring a mix of 2D and 3D cel-shaded graphics. Players control either Viewtiful Joe or Sexy Silvia, using "VFX Powers" to slow, speed up, or manipulate time to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. The story follows the duo as they combat the Gedow organization, led by the Black Emperor, to prevent an alien invasion of Movieland and retrieve the Rainbow Oscars.
