This expansion for a massively multiplayer online role-playing game introduces new zones and quests in the previously unexplored continent of Pandaria. Players advance through quests, dungeons, and raids while engaging in faction-based conflicts between the Alliance and Horde. The story follows both factions' arrival on Pandaria, their interactions with the pandaren, and their efforts to combat the Sha, entities of negative emotion fueled by the ongoing war.
