This is a side-scrolling action game developed by Sega in 1993, featuring the Marvel Comics superhero team the X-Men. Players control one of four pre-selected X-Men characters, each with unique abilities, in a series of combat-based stages. The game is exclusive to the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and was followed by *X-Men 2: Clone Wars* in 1995.
