This is a role-playing game where players explore an open world to find and befriend Yo-kai, supernatural creatures that interact with humans. Core gameplay involves battling and impressing Yo-kai to recruit them, then assembling teams of six to assist people with everyday problems or fight hostile Yo-kai. The setting is a modern town where Yo-kai, invisible to most, influence daily life, and the story follows the player’s journey to uncover their origins and resolve conflicts.
